Karl Ruping, JD, is a member of the board of directors, where he plays an active role in overseeing patent strategy and corporate governance. He is an experienced biotechnology entrepreneur and patent attorney with a technical background in computational sciences and bioinformatics. He has founded or funded a number of technology ventures, including AgaMatrix (medical devices), Agrivida (agricultural biotechnology), and Misfit Wearables (wearable devices). Karl received his JD at Boston University School of Law.
Towia Libermann, PhD, is co-founder and chair of our scientific advisory board. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Beth Isreal Deaconess Institute. He is director of the Genomics, Proteomics, Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Center at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as well as Director of the Dana Farber/Harvard Cancer Center Cancer Proteomics Core. He was also co-founder of Tolerance Therapeutics that merged with Cardion. Towia received his PhD at Weismann Institute and carried out a postdoctoral fellowship at the Whitehead Institute.
Manoj Bhasin, PhD, is co-founder and lead analytics advisor to the scientific advisory board. He is Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is Co-Director of the BIDMC Genomics, Proteomics, Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Center and Director of the Bioinformatics core at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He received his PhD from IMTECH Chadigarh. He carried out his postdoctoral fellowship at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
